Pinehills Golf Club

Pinehills Golf Club is the crown jewel courses of the burgeoning Plymouth dynasty.  Since it opened in 2001, it's been winning awards left and right... a sampling of the awards:

  • "The number one course in Massachusetts"
    - 2009 Zagat Golf Guide
  • "Top 10 You Can Play"
    -Golf Magazine
  • "The only two 5 star courses in New England"
    -2008 New England Golf Guide
  • "4.5 stars"
    -Golf Digest
  • "Number 1 rated public course in Massachusetts"
    -2007 GolfWeek
  • "Top 100 Golf Communities in America"
    -Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine

They're the "best" for good reason - it's like being a member at a private country club (if only for a day) without the heft annual dues.  First, there's the amazing clubhouse

Then the beautiful grass driving range & practice facilities

Oh yeah, have I mentioned the two Championship Golf Courses?

Jones' course if my favorite of the two - a challenging course (7169 black / 6762 blue / 6201 white) with classical features.  Nicklaus' course is nice as well - typical Jack course with lots mounding surround the fairways, some nice holes with railway ties protecting the bunkers.  (7243 black / 6640 blue / 6129 white).

The downside?  Greens fees are a little rich at $110 (includes mandatory cart) on weekends and holidays. I never have a bad time at Pinehills - it's always a pleasurable experience (even though I leave with my wallet a LOT lighter).

Teetimes - you can book a teetime directly at EZLinks here.
